Paul Mutti

Paul Mutti has considerable experience of packaging, electronic and medical product design. A Pro/ENGINEER expert, he has implemented and managed CAD systems and is particularly adept at managing the interaction between 3D CAD and PCB design software.

Since 2002 his main focus has been the design of medical devices. This has included technical authoring, specification and report writing, mechanism and component design, risk analysis, tolerance analysis, design verification testing, jig and fixture design and procurement, all within a regulatory framework and working for clients such as Vectura, Plextek and GSK.

He started his career in specialist packaging design then, as an independent consultant, moved into mechanical & production engineering, working at companies such as Lucas and Cincinnati Milacron. For 15 years prior to joining Coalesce, he ran Mutti Contracts, a Cambridge based product development consultancy.

Paul and his family live on a smallholding in Lincolnshire where they rear livestock. When he’s not rebuilding his mini-digger or coralling escaped sheep, he finds time to play in his local squash league and he also occasionally takes part in 4×4 off road trials.
